Researchers
Peter Danssaert Researcher
(°1965) obtained a degree in Political and Social Science and specialised in International Politics. He has worked with IPIS for almost a decade. He focuses on all matters related to the arms trade, both legal (including the practice of manufacturing licences in third countries) as well as illegal trafficking, and on the diamond trade (trade networks). In 2006 he was Aviation Consultant for the UN Panel of Experts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. One of his recent assignments was arms expert for the UN Group of Experts on the Democratic Republic of Congo (2008).
