Didier Verbruggen
Director


(°1970) holds a graduate degree in Archaeology and a candidate Degree in Philosophy. He carried out an NGO project for young entrepreneurs in South Africa, after which he obtained a degree in journalism. As a member of the Flemish Association of Investigative Journalists he focused on the analysis of balance sheets, economic networks and shareholder structures of companies. He wrote articles for various media outlets - among which the financial weekly Trends - and has published a journalistic book on the financing of the Christian Labour Movement in Belgium. After writing several reports for IPIS on arms trafficking and the mineral industry in Central-Africa, Didier became director in 2006.
