IPIS is a member of the following organisations:
- Fatal Transactions, a consortium of European NGOs which carries out the action From Fair to Fatal Transactions with co-funding from the EU.
- Coprogram, the Flemish federation of NGOs.
- Kauri, a think and work tank which creates a dialogue between NGOs and private companies.
- CocosNet, the library network of the Flemish North-South movement.
IPIS participates in a number of platforms for consultation between NGOs, and peace and human rights organisations:
